'108' services in three countries soon

Hyderabad, August 16: GVK-EMRI Chairman GVK Reddy said they are extending '108' emergency ambulance services to three more countries. He said the services will be launched in Srilanka, Indonesia and Thailand. The services has been launched 10 years ago and saved the lives of about 15 lakh people, he added. They made an agreement with Srilankan government and the emergency ambulance services will start by the end of this year. He said they are considering to launch air ambulance services in Telangana State which could help in providing medical facilities in rural areas without proper transportation.
