50-storey tower to house AP Secretariat

Hyderabad, Aug 07: The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) is planning to construct world-class buildings in the new capital Amaravati. According news reports, CRDA has taken a decision to construct a 50-storey building to house AP Secretariat. The Chief Minister's office may come up either in 47th or 48th floor of the building. Several companies have came forward to design the building and the CRDA may select one agency for the task. The proposed building will resemble Telugu culture and heritage. Besides this, the CRDA is expediting work on Assembly, HOD offices and employees housing colonies to be taken up during the first phase. CRDA Chief Secretary Ajay Jain held a meeting with Singapore representatives on Seed Capital Master Plan yesterday.
