ANU files case against suspended principal

Guntur, Aug 06: Acharya Nagarjuna University Registrar Rajashekar today a lodged a police compliant against the university Architecture College's suspended principal Babu Rao. In the complaint, the Registrar asked the police to take action against Babu Rao as per the provisions of Anti Ragging Act. He alleged that Babu Rao failed to take necessary measures to prevent ragging and urged the police to conduct a detailed inquiry. It may be noted that students unions and political leaders were demanding the university to file a police case against the principal in connection with the death of B Arch student Rishiteswari. Video clips in which the principal was seen dancing with students surfaced over the internet recently.
