Drunk drivers clean Niloufer Hospital
Hyderabad, Aug 05: At least 62 motorists convicted in drunken driving cases, cleaned the premises of Niloufer Hospital here. Of the 306 offenders produced before the Metropolitan Magistrates III and IV of Erram Manzil court here in the past few days, 62 were awarded a punishment of three hour community service for three days. The violators were made to weed out lifeless plants, shrubs and glasses on the hospital premises yesterday. Police said the offenders cleaned the hospital premises on day one and for the next two days they will hold placards with messages at busy roads in the traffic police jurisdiction where they were caught. Some offenders were sentenced to imprisonment and made to pay fines up to Rs 2,000.
