Principal Babu Rao is behind Rishikeswari suicide
Guntur/Hyderabad, August 5: Former Principal of ANU Architecture College Babu Rao's misbehavior provoked Rishikeswari to end her life, said former Assistant Professor David Raju. He told the media that the deceased even wrote in her diary that two students consumed liquor and misbehaved with her during freshers' day party. He questioned how can a principal drink liquor along with students. Why the freshers' day was celebrated in Haailand When there is an open air auditorium in the university, he questioned. Lecturers were not allowed for the party, he added. Many times, girl students complained that Babu Rao speaks indecently over phone, touches girls from backside when they are busy drawing. Despite several complaints about the girls' security to the university higher officials, there was no use. The lecturers even wrote a written complaint that Babu Rao comes to the college in an inebriated condition. A mail was sent to the Governor in March 2014 about his misdeeds. David Raju alleged that because he is a dalit, he was permanently suspended from the job fearing that he would expose the misdeeds of Babu Rao. At the same time, Babu Rao was only suspended after he committed a heinous crime, as he belongs to an upper caste, he criticised.
