TS tapped Chandrababu's phone: Jupudi

Hyderabad, July 27: The Telangana government has tapped the phone of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, said TDP spokesperson Jupudi Prabhkar Rao. Speaking to the media here, Jupudi alleged that phones of CM and 200 employees working in Chief Minister's Office were tapped by Telangana government. Jupudi said that telecom service providers informed the Supreme Court that the phones were intercepted as per the orders of Telangana government. Chandrababu and other victims were not aware of phone tapping, he added. Jupudi said that TRS MLA Stephenson was made scapegoat in the incident. TRS government would face severe consequences for unauthorised interception of phones. Phones should be intercepted only after obtaining permission from Union Home Ministry, he said.
