Lagadapati lauds TS govt Pushkaralu arrangements
Karimnagar: Former MP and united AP protagonist Lagadapati Rajagopal has lauded the Telangana government for making elaborate arrangements for the Godavari Pushkaralu. Rajagopal along with his family members took holy bath in the river at Kaleswaram in Karimnagar district. Later, he performed special pujas at Kaleswara Swamy temple in the town. He wished the Telugu people to lead a prosperous life and shared his memories of taking holy bath with late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy at Kovvur during 2003 Godavari Pushkaralu. It may be noted that Rajagopal vehemently opposed the bifurcation of the State. He resigned from Congress party and his Lok Sabha membership after the Centre took a decision to divide the state. Recently, Lagadapati ruled out his re-entry into politics.
