The long-circulating reports about the alliance between music sensation Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran, daughter of Sun Group Chairman Kalanithi Maran and CEO of SunRisers Hyderabad, have gained further strength in South Indian film and business circles.
Although neither family has issued an official statement so far, wedding preparations appear to be progressing rapidly.
Social media is abuzz with claims that the wedding will take place on November 11 in Greece. In a significant development, Sun Group Chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife Kaveri Maran called on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday. The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
During the visit, the couple extended a warm invitation to CM Revanth Reddy and his wife to attend the wedding reception of their daughter Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander, scheduled for November 21 in Chennai. This invitation has brought clarity regarding the reception date.
Sources indicate that Kalanithi Maran will also personally hand over invitation cards to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and DMK president M.K. Stalin, among other prominent personalities. With these developments, an official announcement from the Maran family is expected soon.
