Microsoft's Edge browser 112% faster than Chrome

Mumbai, July 16: Microsoft’s latest web browser Edge is 112% faster than chrome, according to the developers. Internet Explorer web browser is also released by the Microsoft. Edge browser performed better than Internet explorer, Google’s Chrome, Mozilla’s Firefox and Apple’s Safari, according to benchmarks set by the respective companies. The browser was unveiled on January 21, 2015 and officially released for preview on March 30, 2015. Edge will replace Internet Explorer as the default browser on devices working on Windows 10 OS (Operating System). According to research results, Edge was faster than all other existing browsers in Windows, Mac, Chrome and other OS. It may be noted that Microsoft Windows 10 version will be released on July 29.
