Pratyusha case adjourned for tomorrow
Hyderabad, July 16: The High Court has adjourned Pratyusha case for tomorrow. The 19-year-old girl was tortured by her step-mother, Syamala for about one and half year to which her father, Ramesh was a silent spectator. The victim was rescued from her house on July 8 and under medical treatment at Aware Global hospital since then. Syamala was already arrested while the LB Nagar police arrested Pratyusha's father on Wednesday night. He was produced before the court today. LB Nagar Inspector Srinivas Reddy briefed the court on the latest developments in Pratyusha's case. He said the hospital management was providing free treatment to the girl whose condition was stated to be out of danger. The High Court which accepted Pratyusha case as suo motu inquired about the victim's health condition and lauded the Aware Global hospital management for providing free treatment to her. The Court directed the police to know about Pratyusha's opinion by speaking with her directly about issues like where does she want to stay after getting discharged from hospital etc. The court also directed the police to produce Pratusha's uncle before the court tomorrow and postponed the case.
