CBIT refutes reports on falling standards, funds embezzlement

Hyderabad, July 13: The Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), one of the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad, has refuted the allegations that the college management had embezzled Rs 400 crore funds and educational standards were declining for the past few years. Speaking to the media, the college chairman Malakonda Reddy alleged that some politicians are resorting to mudslinging on the college and its management as seats were denied to the candidates recommended by the latter. The chairman said that TRS MP Vishweshwar Reddy was making allegations as has he was excluded from the management committee. He refuted the reports on fund embezzlement and falling standards in the college, appeared in a section of the media. He exuded confidence that CBIT would be recognized as a private university soon.
