Sandra bail petition verdict adjourned for tomorrow

Hyderabad, July 13: Verdict on the bail petition of Sattupalli MLA, accused in cash-for-vote case was adjourned for Tuesday. Advocates of the MLA argued that the latter should be granted bail since the inquiry was over, whereas the public prosecutor, on behalf of the ACB, urged not to give bail. The public prosecutor (PP) stated that Sandra is one of the key persons in cash-for-vote case. His role in the issue was revealed after the forensic department gave its report. The PP requested for some time for investigation since the case is going at a critical stage. At this stage, granting bail to Sandra will definitely affect the investigation. After hearing both the arguments, the ACB court judge postponed his verdict to Tuesday. It is already known that the ACB court remanded Sandra to 14-days of judicial custody.
