TDP will win Pulivendula seat in 2019: Devineni

Hyderabad, July 13: The Telugu Desam Party will win Pulivendula Assembly seat in 2019 general elections, said senior TDP leader and Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao. Speaking in a television programme here, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said that government released 2 tmcs of water for Kadapa as per the directives of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to save sweet lime orchards. "The people felt happy for the releasing of water and accorded a rousing reception when we visited the area," he added. He exuded confidence that TDP will win from Pulivendula and other YSRCP bastions in next polls by completing the irrigation projects and providing water to all the areas in Rayalaseema region. Devineni supported the party workers demand to give a big role to Lokesh in party affairs. He refuted the reports on the alleged irregularities in Polavaram works. "Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu works 18 hours a day and we are walking in his footsteps," he added.
