KCR to reshuffle his cabinet?

Hyderabad, July 6: Is Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expanding his cabinet? Leaders close to him confirm the news, while the CM's announcement on Sunday of inducting Dharmapuri TRS MLA Koppula Eswar into his team also reaffirms it. Ever since the TRS formed the government, Eswar eyed cabinet berth but KCR was unable to accommodate him. Eswar's hopes rejuvenated when the CM almost decided to drop Deputy CM T Rajaiah, due to the graft allegations against him in January this year. But once again Eswar's hopes were dashed to ground as Kadiyam Srihari took the place of Rajaiah. Eswar reluctantly took the chief whip post offered to him, relying the CM's promise. Now the entry of senior Congress leader D Srinivas into the party paved way to the rumours of cabinet expansion. The TRS bigwigs were keen on sending DS to Rajya Sabha whereas he was more interested to join the cabinet. News is making the rounds that KCR was not so happy with three ministers over their functioning. While one of them was unable to focus on his work due to severe health problems, the remaining two were not up to the expectations of the Chief Minister. There are chances for the CM to inlcude a woman MLA also into his cabinet as a reply to the opposition's cry over ignoring women MLAs. But the reshuffle will be a hectic exercise since there are so many aspirants from differenct communities for the cabinet berth.
