ACB notices to Jimmy Babu

Hyderabad, July 5: Giving a new twist to the cash-for-vote case, ACB gave notices to Jimmy Babu, Telugu Yuvatha state leader, along with Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. ACB summoned Jimmy to appear before them before Monday evening. Nominated MLA Stephenson, in his statement given to the ACB, said that it was Jimmy Babu who had introduced Sebastian to him. According to sources, during the ACB interrogation of the three persons - TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, Sebastian and Uday Simha - who were caught red-handed while giving Rs 50 lakh amount to Stephenson, Jimmy's name came to the light. Jimmy Babu is a native of Godavarikhani in Karimnagar district. Since he became the general secretary of Telugu Yuvatha, he became a follower of Revanth Reddy. As he was also the co-ordinator of Hyderabad cricket association, he became familiar with the son of Stephenson. It was Jimmy who introduced Revanth to Stephenson, according to sources.
