Speculation rife over DS quitting Cong to join TRS

Hyderabad, June 30: There is intense speculation among political circles that former APCC president and Telangana Congress leader D Srinivas might quit Congress and join TRS. A report was published in a leading daily that Srinivas has mentally prepared himself to join TRS. Congress party in TS would receive a major blow if Srinivas joins TRS. Recently, the AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh tried to meet Srinivas in Hyderabad. But, Srinivas did not evince interest in meeting Digvijay. Party sources said that Srinivas strongly believes that Digvijay Singh had influenced the high command to deny MLC post to him during the recent polls. It is learnt that TRS MLA Bajireddy Govardhan is opposing Srinivas's entry into TRS.
