UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2026 Results Declared: 13,343 Candidates Qualify for Mains
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Monday, June 15, 2026, announced the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026. A total of 13,343 candidates across the country have qualified for the next stage — the Civil Services Main Examination.The list of successful candidates with their roll numbers is now available on the official UPSC website — upsc.gov.in.

The Preliminary examination was conducted on May 24, 2026, across the country. UPSC had invited applications for 1,016 Civil Services posts this year. Last year, 14,161 candidates had qualified for the Mains against 1,087 vacancies.

Qualified candidates must mandatorily fill the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) on the UPSC portal between June 19 and June 28, 2026, and pay the examination fee of ₹200. Women, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

UPSC has clarified that candidates’ marks, cut-off marks, and answer keys will be released only after the declaration of the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2026. For any queries, candidates can contact the UPSC Call Centre.
