DGP recalls 400 AP police from Hyderabad
Hyderabad, June 17: AP Director General of Police J. V. Ramudu has taken a step back over the deploying of Andhra Pradesh police personnel in Hyderabad. He recalled 400 police personnel of AP on Wednesday. It should be pointed out here that 400 police personnel from AP districts were shifted to Hyderabad two days ago, so as to arrange security at the residences of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other ministers. This move came after the meeting of DGP of both Telugu states, Anurag Sharma and Ramudu respectively, with Governor ESL Narasimhan on Tuesday. TS DGP Anurag Sharma clearly stated that it was the responsibility of Telangana police to protect all the VIPs in the State. The security arrangements for AP Chief Minister and Ministers will be the same as earlier.
