MLA Stephenson’s statement to be recorded today in Cash-for-vote scam
Hyderabad, June 17: Elvis Stephenson, nominated MLA and complainant in the Cash-for-vote scandal, will give his statement before the First Metropolitan Magistrate today. The ACB officials filed a petition in the ACB special court seeking permission to record the statement of Stephenson last week and the court gave permission to the officials to record the statement under section 164 CRPC. The ACB officials have provide security to the complainant Stephenson in view of the sensitive nature of case. It may be noted that Stephenson informed the media that he will give a statement to the court. Sources said that Jessica, daughter of Sebastian, who was arrested in the case, and Malcom Taylor, owner of the flat in which Stephenson was staying, will also give a statement.
