Terrace sports venue comes up in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 15: Terrace sports venue, first of its kind in the State has come up in the city. The terrace sports venue was developed on the rooftop of 10-storyed White House building at Begumpet in the city. For the first time in South India, a football ground was created on the top floor of a building. High quality artificial grass, 25 feet height safety nets and foam-padded rebound walls along the pitch ensure safety of players. Two football grounds were developed on the terrace and it can also be used for other games like volley ball, cricket and yoga. The users have to pay Rs 1,200 per hour to use the ground. Corporates and regular football clubs can use the facility round the clock.
