Dr.Swamy getting ready to challenge Jaya acquittal in SC
Chennai, May 19, 2015 : Dr. Subrahmanyan Swamy, BJP leader and original complainant in the disproportionate assets case of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, is preparing to file petition challenging the Karnataka High Court order that acquitted her of all the charges. "It is not acceptable for me that the Karnataka High Court has acquitted her," he said, adding that he has been in touch with the Karnataka Government over the issue. The judgment has several flaws, he pointed out , saying if the Karnataka Government doesn't appeal in the Supreme Court , he will challenge the judgement himself. Meanwhile, DMK leader Stalin also called on him here to invite him for a programme. It is learnt both of them discussed the Jayalalithaa issue.
