CPM activists stage dharna at CRDA office opposing GOs 109, 110

Tulluru (Guntur district) May 18, 2015: CPM activists on Monday held a demonstration at the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) in Guntur district asking the TDP Government to cancel the GOs 109 and 110. "Chandrababu has taken the farmers'lands under the garb of a useless land pooling policy and is giving them to corporate companies and private individuals for a 99-year period lease, " they charged , warning the Chief Minister such exploitation would never be allowed. CPM leaders told reporters that Chief Minister and other officials had hoodwinked the farmers and taken their lands in the name of constructing capital city. "The Government is doing business with farmers' lands. We will continue struggle till the lands are returned to farmers," they said, asking the Government not to play with farmers' lives.
