Chiranjeevi absent at key Cong meeting
Hyderabad, May 14, 2015: Mega star-turned Congress politician Chiranjeevi,senior leaders Kishore Chandra Dev, Pallam Raju and Chinta Mohan were among those who did not attend the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee's extended meeting at the Indira Bhavan here on Thursday.
The absence of these leaders at an important meeting has become a topic of discussion among the leaders and activists who were present.
The meeting has decided to undertake protest rallies and stage demonstrations at Government offices across the state on May 26 and June 8 to highlight the failures of the state and central governments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath on May 26 and Chandrababu on June 8 as Prime Minister and Chief Minister of AP respectively. The AP Congress has chosen these dates to vent its anger over the reported failures of the state and central governments by undertaking protest rallies and demonstrations.
