Pakistan Must Hand Over Terrorist Hafiz Saeed: Indian Ambassador to Israel
India has intensified its campaign against terrorism and is working to garner greater international support. As part of these efforts, J.P. Singh, the Indian Ambassador to Israel, made a series of strong remarks. “We have paused Operation Sindoor, but it has not ended,” he clarified, referring to the Indian military operation launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. He described the operation as a significant step in neutralizing terrorists.
Drawing parallels to the United States handing over Tahawwur Rana—accused of involvement in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks—to India, J.P. Singh demanded that Pakistan extradite key terrorists currently residing within its territory. He named Hafiz Saeed, Sajid Mir, and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi as individuals who must be handed over to India. J.P. Singh asserted that India’s operations had been strictly aimed at terrorist camps within Pakistan, but alleged that Pakistan, in contrast, attempted to target Indian military installations.
J.P. Singh stated unequivocally that India would continue its fight until all terrorists, regardless of their location, are eliminated. He referred to the Indian strike on the Noor Khan base on May 10 as a “game changer,” claiming it had triggered intense fear and unrest within Pakistan. According to him, following this incident, Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations reached out to Indian representatives seeking a ceasefire.
