The coalition government of Andhra Pradesh is aggressively pursuing large-scale investments. As part of these efforts, the state has entered into a significant agreement with another major organization. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced this development through a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).
Chandrababu Naidu stated that the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) has signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CreativeLand Asia to launch India's first transmedia entertainment city, named CreatorLand, in Amaravati—the people's capital.
“I am pleased to announce that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding with CreativeLand Asia to establish CreatorLand, India’s first transmedia entertainment city, in Amaravati, the people's capital,” wrote Chandrababu Naidu.
He noted that the project aims to create 25,000 jobs and is positioned to attract foreign direct investment (FDI), promote large-scale development, and empower local talent under the themes ‘Create in AP’ and ‘Create for the World.’
According to Chandrababu Naidu, this world-class creative township will serve as a hub for film, gaming, music, virtual production, immersive storytelling, and AI-driven content. With state-of-the-art infrastructure and global partnerships, the CreatorLand Academy will provide skill development opportunities for youth, helping Andhra Pradesh transform into a global destination for the creative and digital industries.
