Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS today reviewed the arrangements made for the Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi’s visit to the city. Chief Secretary held a meeting with police and other senior officials at BRKR Bhavan today.

Chief Secretary informed that the Honourable Prime Minister will be in Hyderabad for three days to attend the National Executive Committee meeting of the BJP. He will reach Hyderabad on the 2 nd and leave on the 4 th morning. Apart from the Prime Minister, all Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of all BJP ruled states and national level leaders will be in the city for the National Executive Committee meeting. Chief Secretary directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements to facilitate the Honourable Prime Minister’s visit. He said that adequate security arrangements should be put in place during the VVIPs visit. Smooth flow of traffic movement should be made so as to ensure that common public is not put to any inconvenience during the PM’s visit. He asked all the officials to work in close coordination and with utmost precaution. Barricading, lighting and all other measures at Parade Ground, the venue of the public meeting should be scrupulously adhered to, as per the rule book , he added.
