Summer Holidays Should Entertain Everyone: Dil Raju
Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni has earned a successful reputation by presenting content-driven films to audiences. Under his banner Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, he is now bringing a children’s film titled “Summer Holidays” to audiences soon. Directed by Srikar, the film is crafted with a beautiful story that brings back nostalgic childhood memories. Master Rohan, Master Arun, and Baby Khushi play key roles in the movie. “Summer Holidays” is gearing up for a grand theatrical release shortly. The teaser launch event for the film was held today with noted producer Dil Raju attending as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, producer Dil Raju said, “It has been a long time since we’ve seen such a lively film event. Dheeraj is Vamshi Paidipally’s cousin. He used to run a restaurant business. Once, he shared with me his dream of entering the film industry. I told him he was doing well in the restaurant business and that cinema is risky. But he was determined and entered the industry anyway. Today, he has created his own path and delivered hit after hit. It’s been a long time since we had a proper children’s film. I hope this movie entertains everyone this summer and brings family audiences to theatres. All the best to Dheeraj and Giri for this film. The industry is currently going through a difficult phase. Many new directors are here today, and the success of small films is giving strength to the industry. I hope they continue achieving more success and keep the industry thriving.”
Writer Kondal Rao said, “Earlier, I was part of the writing team for Committee Kurrollu. Now, I’ve worked as a writer for this film. Everyone has memories of visiting their grandmother’s house and forming deep friendships during childhood. This movie beautifully captures those nostalgic emotions with fun, fantasy, and emotion. Just as much as you liked the teaser, you will enjoy the film too.”
Actor Rajeev Kanakala said, “I played a wonderful role in this movie with a Godavari district dialect. Writer Kondal Rao helped me perfect the accent. Srikar is a director with great clarity. I worked with him on my last four films, and now I’m producing a solo project. His blessings will always be with me. I heard this story last December and started shooting in February. We wanted to release it in summer, but due to improvements and unforeseen reasons, the release got delayed. Even though the release is postponed, I’m proud that we’re bringing a superb film. Some people discouraged me, saying no one watches children’s films anymore. But I remember enjoying films like Little Soldiers as a child. I strongly believe that if at least one film in this genre releases every year, children and families will definitely come to theatres and enjoy it. My entire team worked very hard for this movie. Thankfully, we found three talented child performers perfectly suited for the story. I’d also like to thank their parents. Thanks to Jayasudha garu, who plays the grandmother’s role, and to Vasuki, Harshavardhan, Rajeev Kanakala, and Harshini for their key performances. If this film succeeds, more producers will come forward to make films in this genre. My friend Giri agreed to produce this film the moment he heard the story because of his trust in me. Recently, major producers met Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan garu regarding industry issues. Just like big producers, small producers also face many challenges. When the opportunity arises, we too will meet Pawan Kalyan garu and explain our concerns. We are also planning to meet Union Minister Amit Shah garu with Pawan Kalyan garu’s support to discuss measures against piracy.”
