Launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre is now open.
The doors of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai opened for everyone on Friday and celebrities from Hollywood, Bollywood, world of sports, politics, entrepreneurs and many more became a part of the grand event. Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani and her daughter Isha Ambani hosted the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Nita Ambani said, “I am overwhelmed by the support the cultural centre is getting. It is one of the best cultural centres in the world. All arts and artists are welcome here. Here the youth from small towns and remote areas will also get a chance to show their art. I hope the world's best shows will come here.
RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that – “this will emerge as a major Centre of art for Mumbai and also for entire country. Big shows can be held here. I hope Indians will be able to produce original shows with their full artistry.”
Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar was present with his familiar smile. Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, lawn tennis player Sania Mirza and athlete Deepa Malik also reached the Centre and cheered the artists.
Superstar Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyank Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Sunil Shetty, Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Shraddha Kapoor, Shreya Ghoshal; Bollywood stars like Raju Hirani, Tusshar Kapoor graced the entire evening.
