A Conclave on " Vijayawada Highway Road to the Future” held at Hyderabad
Hyderabad 13 December 2022: G Square Housing in association with The Economic Times conducted a conclave of "Vijayawada Highway- Road to the future" at JW Marriot hotel, Hyderabad. The event was graced by Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Secretary for IT, Commerce & Industries Departments, Government of Telangana. There were eminent speakers from the industry who were a part of the panel discussion which enriched the knowledge of the audience on various aspects.

The group of panellists shared great insights about the Vijayawada Highway which will soon be the most sought out real estate destination near Hyderabad. The eastern corridor was the first area which attracted many companies and individuals three decades ago. An acre in Hayathnagar was sold at Rs. 50,000/- whereas an acre of land in Madhapur was priced at Rs. 5,000/-. NH65 which connects Hyderabad and Vijayawada is one of the first highways that were developed nearby Hyderabad. The corridor has been ever evolving since 2004 and is a testimonial for infrastructure development. Starting From LB Nagar, this corridor stretches itself into other regions like HayathNagar, Choutuppal and Suryapet.
Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Secretary for IT, Commerce & Industries Departments, Government of Telangana said, " The eastern corridor is growing at a very fast rate. The Government has some well thought plans for this part of the state. Our Vision is to establish IT parks in Tier 2 & Tier 3 towns of Telangana as well. A 50,000 thousand sq. ft tech park in suryapet would be unveiled very soon. Many people belonging to Suryapet and Nalgonda have set up their companies in foreign countries. They are very much interested in setting up their offices in these towns of Telangana. Apart from this, an established corporate firm is showing interest in empowering the weaving community of Pocharam. Yadadri temple is also a pride of Telangana, and that area will also attract investments. The towns of Telangana will soon be transformed, and one can expect good development here".
Eshwar N, CEO of G Square Housing who was also a part of the panel presented a few interesting facts about this corridor. He said, " The number of people using this highway to reach Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam and other towns of Andhra Pradesh has been increasing constantly. The Vijayawada Highway may become the next big real estate hub as there are great projects which are lined up along this corridor. If an individual is investing here soon, he or she will reap great profits from this corridor.
