MTR Foods launches a range of Podis in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
Range consists of popular podis across Telugu households - Idli Karam Podi, Kandi Podi, Karivepaku Podi
AP & TS, September 6, 2022: MTR Foods is set to further strengthen its play in the Telugu food market with the launch of a range of popular Podis in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana markets.
Podi is a normal accompaniment for all meal occasions in households across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and has been traditionally prepared by homemakers by sourcing open ingredients from neighborhood Kirana or general stores. However, the consistency in taste and quality was an ongoing challenge, as was the availability and freshness of ingredients. Addressing this concern, MTR Foods worked with the Telugu mothers to create and launch three of the most regularly consumed and loved podis – Kandi, Idli Karam and Karivepaku Podi.
The products are priced at Rs 10/pack with 20g product and Rs 45/pack for 100g consumption pack.
