Delhi CM to Meet Telangana CM tomorrow to Challenge Centre's Ordinance

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to meet Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Saturday. The purpose of the meeting is to seek support against the recent ordinance passed by the central government, which designates the Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) as the administrator with final authority over the postings and transfers of all bureaucrats serving the Delhi government.

Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), took to Twitter on Friday to announce his intention to seek the support of Chief Minister KCR against what he called an "unconstitutional and undemocratic ordinance passed by the BJP government, contrary to the orders of the Supreme Court."

This move comes in response to a recent Supreme Court ruling granting the Delhi government the power to enact laws and make decisions regarding the appointment and transfer of bureaucrats.
