Hyderabad: On Saturday, a shooting occurred at the Allen Premier shopping complex located 25 kilometres north of Dallas, Texas. The incident resulted in the death of nine individuals, including Tatikonda Aishwarya, a young girl from Telangana who was studying in the US. Aishwarya's father works as a judge in Ranga Reddy District Court. According to eyewitnesses, the assailant opened fire indiscriminately at individuals in the vicinity of the shopping complex, including people walking on the footpath. City Police Chief Brian Harvey announced that children were among the injured. The assailant was also killed in the police firing. The motive behind the shooting is yet to be determined, and an investigation is ongoing. In response to the tragedy, Texas Governor Greg Abbott expressed his condolences and offered assistance to the local authorities and victims. He called the incident a "senseless act of violence."
