Barlocco, a 25-acre uninhabited island located off the southern coast of Scotland, is up for sale at a price of $190,000 (approximately Rs 1.5 crore), as per a report by CNN. The island features a flood pond that provides water to wildlife and livestock during the winter months. It allows individuals to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and bask in the serene and picturesque environment. Barlocco island can be accessed on foot, by tractor, or by quadbike. It boasts a pebble beach where boats can be anchored or beached. The nearest town is six miles away, and it takes an hour to reach the nearest train station in Dumfries by road.
