The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, C.M. Jagan, launched e-stamping services for the registration department, virtually from his camp office in Tadepalli. This move is expected to make the registration process easier for citizens. The new system allows people to pay stamp duty and registration fees directly, eliminating the need for physical stamps. Additionally, citizens can now prepare and register their own documents easily using this system. One of the key advantages of e-stamping is the ability to verify documents online through a mobile app. The government has also made it easy for citizens to make payments through multiple channels, including cash, cheque, NEFT, and UPI. This service will be available at select branches of SBI, APCAB, and Union Bank. Officials have emphasized that the procedure is safe and secure, ensuring that citizens can have peace of mind when using the e-stamping system.
