High tension in Puttaparthi as YCP MLA and Former Minister clash at Satyamma Temple
Anantapur: Puttaparthi witnessed high tension as YCP MLA Duddukunta Sridhar and former minister Palle Raghunath Reddy challenged each other at Satyamma temple. The altercation between the two politicians escalated into a physical fight as TDP and YCP members attacked each other with stones and sandals.
The vehicles of Palle Raghunath Reddy and MLA Sridhar Reddy were damaged in the attacks. Palle Raghunath Reddy fell unconscious during the fight, adding to the tense situation. Despite police enforcement of Act 30 in Puttaparthi, MLA Sridhar Reddy was allowed to visit the temple, further angering the TDP ranks who protested against the behavior of the police and raised slogans against the government.
