Priyanka Gandhi accuses BJP of disqualifying Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, defending her brother Rahul Gandhi, who was recently disqualified as a member of Parliament. She stated that even though the Gandhi family has been insulted and called names such as 'Mir Jafar,' they will not bow down as their family has a legacy of nurturing democracy with their blood.
Priyanka Gandhi broke her silence on the issue during a media briefing on March 24. She accused the BJP of disqualifying Rahul Gandhi for raising concerns about the Adani group and asserted that they would fight back against the government's actions.
Priyanka Gandhi said that her brother was disqualified because he spoke about Adani. She further added that "the government refuses to answer questions regarding the Adani issue. Our family has contributed to this country with the blood of its martyrs. We will not back down, we will fight."
