TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao calls out YSRCP's mind games
Amaravati: Former minister and TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has claimed that the YCP is engaged in a mind game by spreading false information that the Speaker has accepted his resignation from the MLA post. According to Ganta Srinivasa Rao, the YCP is trying to protect its own MLAs by spreading this campaign. He further added that his resignation cannot be accepted without his knowledge, and that he had even proposed and signed the nomination paper of his party's candidate Panchumurthy Anuradha MLC.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao had resigned from his MLA post on February 6, 2021, as a protest against the privatization of Visakha Steel Plant. He submitted his resignation letter to the JAC representatives and had announced it in the Speaker format, which reached the Speaker's office.
On March 14, 2022, he submitted another letter to the Speaker requesting the acceptance of his resignation. It should be noted that this matter was previously discussed with Speaker Tammineni Sitaram in Srikakulam.
