Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the well-known filmmaker and elder daughter of legendary Tamil actor Rajnikanth, has filed a police complaint alleging that her diamond and gold jewellery, worth several lakhs, were stolen from her home. She suspects that the theft was committed by her three staff members who had access to the locker where the jewellery was kept. The missing valuables include diamond sets, antique gold pieces, navaratnam sets, and uncut diamonds in temple jewellery. Although the FIR mentions the value of the stolen jewellery as Rs 3.6 lakh, the actual value is expected to be much higher. Aishwarya had kept the jewellery in the locker after using it for her younger sister Soundarya's wedding in 2019. The locker has been in her possession but has been shifted to three different locations since then.
