Two severely injured as car rams into bike in Banjara Hills

Hyderabad: In a horrifying incident, a man allegedly under the influence of cannabis and alcohol, collided with a bike, leaving two individuals seriously injured. One of them is reported to be in a critical condition. The incident took place in Banjara Hills road no 2,near Creamstone.

According to sources, the driver of the car, identified as Anush Rao, was reportedly driving at a high speed after consuming alcohol and cannabis with his friend Pawan Kalyan Reddy from Kothapet. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately reached the site of the incident.

It is learnt that Anush Rao was apprehended after the car was chased and intercepted. Upon searching the car, the police found 50 grams of cannabis and cannabis-filled cigarettes.

After the accident, the police collected blood and hair samples of the drunk youths and sent them for forensic testing. Later, a case was registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and an investigation is underway.
