Godavari Express narrowly avoids major accident as train derails in Bibinagar
Hyderabad: The Godavari Express train traveling from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad narrowly avoided a major accident as it derailed near Bibinagar in the early hours of Tuesday. The train was reportedly running behind schedule by half an hour and running at a speed of 100 km when the accident took place.
According to the sources, passengers onboard the train were understandably frightened by the sudden incident and passengers jumped off the train to save their lives. While there were no immediate reports of severe injuries, some passengers reportedly sustained minor injuries and were shaken up by the incident.
