Buggana Rajendranath key comments on Visakhapatnam as capital
During a roadshow for the Global Investment Summit in Bengaluru, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath emphasized that Visakhapatnam is the capital of Andhra Pradesh, refuting the notion of the state having three capitals. He stated that Andhra Pradesh had faced a massive loss during the state's bifurcation, and as a result, industries were being invited from all over the country to grow industrially. Buggana highlighted the three corridors - Visakhapatnam-Chennai, Chennai-Bangalore, and Bangalore-Hyderabad - passing through AP, which offer water, electricity, land, and aviation facilities to prospective industries.
IT Minister Gudiwada Amaranath added that there were excellent prospects for IT growth in Visakhapatnam, following in the footsteps of Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
