Kollu Ravindra arrested for protesting Govt Lands allotment to YSRCP office

Former minister Kollu Ravindra was arrested along with his party supporters while protesting the allotment of government land worth crores of rupees in Machilipatnam to the YSRCP office. The police intercepted the protesters at the Lakshmi Talkies Centre, leading to an intense stand-off. The situation escalated when the police prevented Ravindra and his group from taking the media on a tour of the land to support their claims.

The arrest of the former minister was met with resistance from TDP cadres, but he was eventually taken into custody and moved towards Gudur. Ravindra strongly condemned the police's actions, calling the arrest undemocratic. The incident disrupted traffic in the area, causing inconvenience to local residents.
