Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy criticizes MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy for anti-party remarks

Nellore: Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy of YSRCP criticized Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy for his remarks against the party. During a media interaction, Minister Kakani stated that Sridhar Reddy's choice to switch parties was personal. He questioned why Sridhar Reddy did not take legal action regarding the allegations of phone tapping and stated that the authorities have already confirmed that no tapping took place.

Minister Kakani accused Sridhar Reddy of being manipulated by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and expressed anger towards the phone-tapping drama, despite the fact it was a recorded audio. He criticized Chandrababu Naidu for tapping Sridhar Reddy.

The Minister emphasized that if there was any evidence of phone tapping, Sridhar Reddy could file a complaint with the Center or take it to court. He questioned why CM YS Jagan assigned the Nellore constituency responsibilities to Sridhar Reddy if he had doubts about him.

Minister Kakani stated that the departure of leaders like Sridhar Reddy would not cause harm to YCP and added that many good leaders are eager to join the party. He expressed that there was no need for an arrest or encounter and was confident that YCP would win all ten seats in the joint Nellore district.
