Elephant herd kills one, injures two in Parvathipuram
Parvathipuram: A tragic incident occurred in Talada, a village in Parvathipuram's Manyam district, where one person was killed by a herd of elephants. The victim, Gopishetti Chinnarao, lost his life during the attack on him and two women, Parvathi and Jayalakshmi. Despite receiving medical treatment, Chinnarao was unable to survive his injuries.
The incident has left the villagers in fear as they have reported previous incidents of elephants entering their fields and destroying their crops. They are also expressing their frustration and anger towards the lack of attention and action from the forest officials to address this issue.
