Bus carrying pilgrims to Shirdi collides with truck, 10 dead and 12 injured

Nashik: The tragic incident occurred on Friday morning when a private travel bus collided with a truck in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. According to police officials, at least ten people were killed and several others were injured in the accident. The bus, which had started its journey in Ambernath in Thane district, was on its way to the temple town of Shirdi in Ahmednagar district. The accident occurred at around 7 am near Pathare Shivar in Nashik's Sinnar tehsil, which is located around 180 km from Mumbai.

The bus was carrying a large number of passengers to the famous Shirdi Sai Baba Temple for a pilgrimage. It is said that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with the truck.

The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals and the bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem examination. The police officials have begun an investigation into the incident.
