Yandamuri vs Chandrabose over 'Waltair Veerayya' song controversy

The title song "Waltair Veerayya," which was written by veteran film lyricist Chandrabose, has drawn criticism from novelist and screenwriter Yandamuri Veerendranath on social media. Vootukur Janaki Rama Rao's views were backed by Yandamuri in a Facebook post. It became popular. However, some super fans believed that Yandamuri was targeting on Chiranjeevi. These critiques drew a response from Chandrabose.

All in all, Chandrabose was hurt by these criticisms. He also responded because of this. Strongly denying it, Chandrabose argued that he was involved in the lyrics' creation. In Telugu, there is only one virodhabhasalankaram. Chandrabose cited this as the inspiration for the song Waltair Veerayya. He has provided examples of words that fall within virodhabhasalankaram to support his claim.
