According to a report, hundreds of H1B visa holders including Indians in the US are having difficulty finding employment, and immigrants are also not receiving adequate assistance from the businesses who sacked them. In the event that they lose their jobs, H1B visa holders or immigrants are not permitted to remain in the US for longer than 60 days. The H1B visa holders will have to find other employment within 60 days or depart the country. The visas are normally granted for a period of three years, however depending on work, they may be extended.
