Andhra Pradesh has saw political turmoil as a result of clashes that occurred at Macherla in the Palnadu district. A fresh facet of these conflicts is being revealed regularly. The most recent addition introduces a fresh twist. A video was produced and released by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). One of the men could be seen in the video brandishing a knife. The TDP claims that Challa Mohan is the major perpetrator of the Macherla violent event. Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao, the TDP leader, claims that 22 TDP supporters were detained in connection with the violence on December 16. While noting the new video's content, the former TDP MLA also questioned whether the relevant police authorities were aware of the man with the knife and his warnings. He has levelled sensational accusations, claiming that Challa had the knife with him to attack Brahma Reddy. The attack on their leaders, according to Yarapatineni, was organised in advance.
