Rishi Sunak, the British prime minister, unveiled a new five-step plan to combat illegal immigration, promising to fight back the illegal immigration. The UK government's backlog of asylum applications will be cleared by the end of next year, according to the British PM.
Sunak continued, while speaking in the UK Parliament: "Wanting to free ourselves from the control of the criminal organisations that profit from human suffering and abuse our legal system is neither harsh nor unjust. It's enough already. The international asylum framework is out of date in its current form.", Sunak added.
