Elephant herd creates panic near Palamaner, Chittoor

Chittoor: Tension escalated among the residents of Palamaner in Chittoor after a herd of elephants was spotted on the road a few stones away from the Mosalimadugu village. According to the reports, around 22 elephants stopped on the road after there is no way for them to enter the forest as there is a solar fence obstructing them.

After receiving the information, the forest officials rushed to the spot and are trying to send them away into the forest by lightning crackers. The locals are expressing worry after the elephant herd is very near to the village and requesting the officials to send them immediately into the forest.
